Are You Getting a Tattoo

by All Tattoos

You may be wondering if getting a tattoo really hurts at all. Normally this is the first and basic question that people ask. And the answer to this query is yes. Just think about it—if you have needles that are piercing your skin it does really hurt. But the question is how much it will hurt and how long you will be able to handle the pain? Well, it is not as bad as you may think it is. The real pain originates from the many needles on the tattoo machine that is piercing the skin quickly. But the feeling is not like the pain of the injection. It is more like a regular vibration instead. It is also amazing at how fast your body will be able to release the pain killers or the endorphins which will significantly relieve the pain.

This kind of pain varies accordingly. It really all depends on the body that will be pierced on. The skin just above the bones which is the anklebone, collarbone, among others is more painful to pierce on as compared with other areas. To add, there are even other needle types that hurt more than other needles. Personally, I think the needles used in shading feels like an electrical buzz and tends to be more painless, while the needles that were used in outlining the tattoo generates a more obvious and prickly pain. The amount of the pain will really depend on your attitude in the psychological sense.

Take note not to take illegal drugs or even drink alcohol to relieve the pain before the tattoo pricking sessions. The alcohol and the aspirin will thin your blood and eventually elevates more bleeding. The aspirin will lessen the blood clotting which will make your healing slower than usual. And the artists do not like to deal with drunks and is considered illegal in certain states.
